Bought this on a whim along with another Model 81, decided to only keep one. This one is chambered in .300 Savage. I have not fired it, but it is a used rifle. Manufactured in 1946. Has a mounted Redfield aperture sight on the receiver. It's a bit dirty internally, and the bolt catch doesn't engage. I have a replacement bolt catch that will be included. I have never stripped or disassembled this rifle. Everything looks to be good. It feeds snap caps normally.
Neat little rifle for a collection. Might be a good shooter.
